What an incredible experience we had at the lodge! We arrived by raft and it was such a thrilling adventure. The guides were not only helpful, but they were also friendly and made us feel at ease throughout the trip. The rooms were clean and provided a breathtaking view of the river and rainforest. We had the chance to go on two hikes to beautiful waterfalls with one of the guides, which was both refreshing and stunning. The absence of internet was actually a blessing, as it allowed us to truly disconnect and relax. And let's not forget the food! Every dinner was freshly prepared and showcased a delicious blend of Costa Rican and European cuisine. We were blown away by the quality and taste. We highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience in the heart of nature.

The location of this jungle resort is absolutely amazing. It is nestled in the middle of the rainforest, offering a truly immersive experience in nature. The scenic rafting experience was a highlight of our trip, with rapids ranging from class 2 to class 4. The knowledgeable guides made sure we felt safe and had an adrenaline-filled adventure. Additionally, the view from the cabins was stunning, overlooking the river and surrounded by lush vegetation.
There were a few minor drawbacks during our stay. the shower only had cold water, which was a bit uncomfortable.

My stay at this remote tropical location above the river Pacuare was truly one-of-a-kind. The individual bungalows offered amazing views and the cacophony of birdsong was incredible. I loved being able to disconnect from it all and fully immerse myself in nature. The rafting trip guided by Moses was exceptional and the overall organization of the trip was excellent. If you want to experience the real Costa Rica, don't miss out on this unforgettable adventure. For convenience, I would recommend staying at the Finca Tres Equis the night before the river pick up. I highly recommend this unique opportunity to stay at Pacuare River Lodge.
